Marta Osório de Matos is an Integrated Researcher at CIS-Iscte and Invited Assistant Professor at Iscte-IUL, holding a PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology. Her work centers on psychosocial aspects of elderly care, chronic pain, and caregiver support.
Research lines include:
- Interpersonal dynamics of social support for functional autonomy in elderly with chronic pain
- Psychosocial risk/protective factors for caregivers' quality of life
She received the Grünenthal Foundation Clinical Research Award (2016) and ASTOR Best Poster Award (2021). Her publications focus on psychometrics, pain management, and pandemic psychology.
Teaching includes Health Attitudes and Research Methods in Psychology courses.
