Marta Milani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Sciences at the University of Verona, specializing in General and Social Pedagogy (PAED-01/A). She coordinates the Centro Studi Interculturali (CSI) and is affiliated with the Cooperative Learning research group. Her work focuses on intercultural education, development of intercultural competence in educational settings, and promoting inclusion through cooperative learning methodologies.
She holds a PhD in Education and Continuous Training from the University of Verona (2014). Her research aligns with departmental priorities in citizenship and social inclusion, migration studies, and group cooperation/conflict dynamics. She contributes to interdisciplinary research on education, societal cohesion, and multiculturalism.
Milani teaches courses on intercultural education, pedagogy, and lifespan education across undergraduate and graduate programs. She actively participates in academic governance, serving on committees for internationalization, quality assurance, and master’s programs in intercultural competence and management. She leads projects addressing cultural literacy, gender equality in education, and eco-system simulation for social inclusion.
