Marta M. Lipinski, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, with secondary appointments in Neurobiology. She holds affiliations with the Shock, Trauma and Anesthesiology Research (STAR) Center, Center for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, and Center for Biomolecular Therapeutics. Her laboratory focuses on autophagy mechanisms in neurotrauma, neurodegeneration, and brain aging.
