Marta Lech

Marta Lech is a Tutor and Diploma Coordinator in the Department of Printmaking at the Faculty of Graphics and Media Art, Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. She holds a PhD and graduated from the same institution in 2005 with a specialization in printmaking. Her artistic practice focuses on linocut techniques, exploring light as a structural and aesthetic element in non-narrative compositions.

Her research examines how light creates illusory spatial structures and emphasizes formal aesthetics over storytelling. This work has been exhibited globally, including solo shows in Croatia and group exhibitions in Belgium, Canada, China, and France.

Lech has received major international recognition, including:
