Marta Katalin Korpics

Marta Katalin Korpics is an Associate Professor at the Department of Communication and Media Studies within the Institute of Social and Communication Sciences at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. Her academic career spans multiple Hungarian institutions including the National University of Public Service and the University of Pécs. With expertise in communication studies, she has established herself as a leading researcher in sacred communication and religion-media interactions in contemporary Hungarian society.

Her organizational contributions include founding the Communication Alumni Organization (2010-2012) and participating in the creation of professional accreditation materials.

She has organized numerous conferences including the "Communication and Sacredness Research Group Workshop" (2020), "Public Spheres. Participation, Access, Social Divisions" conference of the Hungarian Society of Communication Studies (2019), and multiple workshops on sacred communication. Her academic service extends to editorial roles, having edited several significant volumes on sacred communication and community studies.
