Marta Herger

Marta Herger, MD, JD, is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Co-Site Residency Training Director at Yale School of Medicine. Her work bridges child/adolescent psychiatry with forensic psychiatry, focusing on mental health care in legal contexts. She completed her MD and JD at Texas Tech University in 2016, followed by residencies in psychiatry and pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital (2021), and a forensic psychiatry fellowship at Yale (2022).
