Marta Ferri is a Researcher at the School of Management, Lancaster University, affiliated with the Centre for Technological Futures and Pentland Centre. With a background in Cultural Anthropology (University of Bologna) and African Studies (University of Dalarna), she bridges social science perspectives with sustainability research.

Her research examines global organizational approaches to plastics waste, focusing on the Circular Economy. She explores how institutions coordinate circular solutions to address the plastic crisis through theoretical frameworks like Actor-Network Theory (ANT).
