Marta Beghini

Marta Beghini is a Temporary Professor of Roman and Ancient Law (IUS/18) at the University of Verona's Department of Legal Sciences. Her research focuses on Roman legal traditions and European private law foundations. She coordinates the 'Atlas of ideas' project examining legal negotiations within Romanistic tradition and participates in research groups studying Roman origins of legal traditions.

Her teaching includes Foundations of European Private Law and Roman Law and Civil Law Tradition courses for the Combined Bachelor's + Master's degree in Law program. She supervises training and moot court competitions in Roman law.
