Marson Korbi is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Theory and Project of Domestic Space (TPOD) laboratory within the Architecture School of EPFL. He holds a PhD in architecture from the Polytechnique of Bari (2020, cum laude). His research focuses on the intersection of architecture history/theory, domestic space, urban form, and political economy, with an emphasis on typology and interior design.
His work includes editorial collaborations such as co-editing Grand Dessein du Rationalisme (Accattone, 2021) and contributing to Order and Disorder: Selected Essays by Manfredo Tafuri (ongoing). He is currently preparing a monograph Forever Young: A Critical History of Student Accommodation, tracing the evolution of student housing from medieval colleges to contemporary models.
At EPFL, Korbi teaches within the doctoral school of EDAR (Enseignement, Didactique et Action Sociale) and leads the course Reading the Renaissance. His practice bridges architectural critique, political theory, and educational frameworks, with collaborations spanning Tirana, Bari, Brussels, and Lausanne.
