Marshall Vance

Marshall Vance is an Associate Professor and L. Mahlon Harrell Faculty Fellow at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech, within the Accounting and Information Systems department. His research focuses on executive compensation design, corporate governance, and management accounting practices, with notable contributions to understanding proxy advisory firm influences and employee responses to equity incentives. Dr. Vance holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and BS/MS degrees from Brigham Young University.
