Marshall Craig is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Autonomous University of Barcelona's Department of Translation, Interpreting, and East Asian Studies. His work focuses on the East Asian War of 1592-1598, analyzing contemporary personal accounts from Chinese, Korean, and Japanese sources. He completed his doctorate at the University of Oxford and has taught history, language, and translation at Oxford and SOAS, University of London. He served as a senior policy advisor to the UK and Scottish governments. His research emphasizes cross-cultural identity dynamics during conflict.
