Marshall Babson serves as a Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University and Counsel at Seyfarth Shaw LLP in New York City. Appointed by President Reagan, he was a Member of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from 1985 to 1988, contributing to landmark cases including John Deklewa & Sons and Indiana and Michigan Electric Co.

His expertise spans labor and employment law with focus on NLRB/EEOC proceedings, Title VII litigation, collective bargaining, arbitration, and personnel matters. He authored the book Developments Under the 1974 Health Care Amendments to the National Labor Relations Act and numerous commentaries on labor law developments.
Mr. Babson has testified before President Clinton’s Dunlop Commission and Congress on labor legislation, and advises employers on labor agreements and reorganization of unionized businesses.
