Marohang Limbu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Cultures at Michigan State University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Letters. His research focuses on digital rhetorics, global literacies, and indigenous pedagogies, particularly within the context of 21st-century cross-cultural communication and cloud-based educational technologies. Limbu is the founder and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Global Literacies, Emerging Pedagogies, and Technologies, a peer-reviewed publication.
His work explores global indigenous rhetorical traditions, including Kirat-Yakthung (Limbu) language and literacy, and emphasizes decolonial methodologies in education. Key research areas include cloud-and-crowd networked pedagogy, inter-epistemic communication, and the integration of social media in globalized learning environments.
Limbu has published widely on digital and global literacies, cloud technologies in education, and the politics of non-Western rhetoric. His articles analyze epistemic shifts in networked knowledge societies and the transformative potential of technology in culturally diverse classrooms.
He has co-edited influential volumes such as Emerging Pedagogies in the Networked Knowledge Society (2013) and Integration of Cloud Technologies in Digitally Networked Classrooms (2016), advancing interdisciplinary approaches to education and technology.
