Marla Del Collins, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at Long Island University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. With degrees in Dramatic Arts, Educational Theatre, and Arts & Humanities in Education, her work bridges communication studies, postmodern dramaturgy, and gender communication.

Her research focuses on nonaristotelian/postmodern theories applied to creative processes, conflict resolution, and transcultural communication. She is currently analyzing Eugene O’Neill’s plays through postmodern frameworks.
Dr. Collins’ scholarship spans topics like gender identity, dualistic thinking in dialogue, and cross-cultural communication dynamics. Her recent publications explore feminist reinterpretations of classical texts and transcultural communication phenomena.
