Prof. Dr. Markus P. Beham holds the Chair of Public Law, International and European Law at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). He is also a Visiting Professor at the Free University of Berlin and teaches at the universities of Graz, Passau, and Vienna. His research spans public law, international dispute settlement, procurement law, legal philosophy of transformation (especially sustainability), and fundamentals of legal methodology.
Research interests include:

- Sustainability law and legal transformation
- Methodology and history of international relations
