Markus Haug

Markus Haug is Research Scientist at NTNU's Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine and Centre of Molecular Inflammation Research (CEMIR). His work focuses on adaptive immunity mechanisms in infectious diseases (tuberculosis, HIV) and cancer.

Employing flow cytometry and cellular immunology approaches, he investigates T lymphocyte responses and antigen-presenting cell functions. Current projects examine immune evasion strategies in persistent infections and tumor microenvironments.
