Markus Geßlein

Markus Geßlein is a Professor at the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Klinikum Nürnberg. His research focuses on biomechanics, sports injuries, and surgical techniques, particularly involving the knee joint and proximal interphalangeal joint arthrodesis. He has authored over 150 publications and led a research project on pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy for ligament regeneration.
