Marko Pesic

Dr. Marko Pesic serves as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Chemistry within the Faculty of Science and Mathematics at the University of Kragujevac. He completed his undergraduate studies in 2013, earned his Master's degree in 2015, and received his Doctorate in 2021.

Dr. Pesic specializes in organic chemistry with particular expertise in several specialized areas:

• Organic synthesis methodologies
• Phytochemistry and natural product analysis
• Chemistry of organometallic compounds
• Cycloaddition reaction mechanisms

His research work benefits from the Institute of Chemistry's comprehensive laboratory facilities which include nuclear magnetic resonance devices, infrared spectrophotometers, UV-VIS spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, and atomic absorption spectrophotometers. The Institute provides both theoretical instruction in modern classrooms and practical training in six specialized student laboratories.

As a member of the chemistry research community at the University of Kragujevac, Dr. Pesic contributes to the academic mission through research activities and potentially teaching responsibilities within the chemistry programs offered by the Institute.
