Dr. Markesha Henderson is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Sport Management at the University of West Georgia's College of Education. With expertise in college student development and intercollegiate athletics, she brings unique insights from her background as a Division I All-American track athlete and over 10 years of industry experience.
Her research examines social issues in sports, athlete entrepreneurship, and gender dynamics in athletics. She teaches courses including Sociology of Sport and Social Issues in Sport.
