Mark Thomas is a Senior Lecturer within the Division of Physiotherapy, Sport Rehabilitation and Chiropractic at London South Bank University (LSBU), serving as professional lead for Chiropractic. He qualified as a chiropractor in 2009 (MSc Rehabilitation Science, 2012-2014; Master of Chiropractic, 2005-2009) and held roles including private practice, rehabilitation consultant for a medical insurance company, and multidisciplinary team leader at KIMS Hospital (2016-2018). He currently pursues a part-time PhD at LSBU investigating patient attitudes toward manual therapy in low back pain. As Chair of the Chiropractic Patient Incident Reporting and Learning System (CPiRLS) development group at the Royal College of Chiropractors, he advocates for patient safety through clinical incident analysis.
