Mark T. Kennedy is an Adjunct Professor in Environmental Engineering & Science at Geneva College. His expertise spans water and wastewater treatment, fluid mechanics, and environmental engineering.

- Degree Received: B.S. in Environmental Engineering (Syracuse University, 1983)
His research focuses on industrial pretreatment programs, wastewater collection system design, odor control, and regulatory reporting. He has contributed extensively to water quality compliance frameworks and environmental policy discussions.
His presentations include critical analyses of industrial waste management practices, ammonia permitting issues, and combined sewer overflow mitigation strategies. These works highlight his commitment to advancing wastewater treatment technologies.
Mark holds licensure as a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Water Environment Federation and the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP). He has served as a Sr. Engineering Associate at Widmer Engineering, Inc. since 1998 and previously worked for the US Army (1983–1988) and Greeley and Hansen (1990–1998).
A licensed Ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, Mark combines his technical expertise with leadership in environmental compliance consulting. His hobbies include scouting, triathlons, cycling, canoeing, sailing, and playing brass instruments.
