Mark Slavovsky is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Covenant College, serving on the faculty since 2017. He holds a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from the University of Tulsa and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Covenant College.
His research focuses on academic integrity from an accounting perspective, particularly how ethical standards and professional conduct intersect with educational practices. His notable work includes an unpublished 2021 paper exploring these themes.
Outside academia, Slavovsky enjoys outdoor activities like cycling, mountain biking, hiking, and camping. He also emphasizes student curiosity as a key motivator, often grading exams at Goodman Coffee, his favorite local restaurant.
