Mark Shen, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) School of Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry, UNC Neuroscience Center, and Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities (CIDD). As Co-Director of the CIDD Clinical Trials Program, his translational research bridges neuroimaging of infants with neurodevelopmental disorders (autism, Fragile X syndrome, Angelman syndrome, Down syndrome) and mechanistic studies in animal models. He also investigates adult neurological conditions like migraine.
