Mark R. Riley, Ph.D., is the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Previously, he served as a professor and department head of Biological Systems Engineering (2012–2017) and at the University of Arizona (1997–2012), where he was department head of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (2009–2012). His academic roles include Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Biological Engineering (2007–2009) and President of the Institute of Biological Engineering (2010).
