Mark Polanzak is a Lecturer in Literature, Composition, and Creative Writing at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is the author of POP! (Stillhouse Press), a hybrid work blending memoir and fiction, and his short stories have appeared in The Southern Review, The American Scholar, and the Best American Nonrequired Reading, 2017 anthology.

He holds an MFA from the University of Arizona and resides in Salem, MA. His work bridges literary fiction with experimental narrative forms, focusing on contemporary storytelling techniques and interdisciplinary approaches to music and writing.
