Mark N. Lee serves as an Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine at Yale School of Medicine with secondary appointments in Pathology. He is an active member of Yale's Human and Translational Immunology (HTI) Program and the Cancer Immunology Research Program at Yale Cancer Center.

Dr. Lee's research focuses on adaptive immunity mechanisms, particularly T-cell receptor specificity, antigen presentation, and immune evasion in cancer. His work bridges genomic analysis of immune responses with clinical applications in hematologic malignancies and autoimmune disorders. He employs cutting-edge approaches including pathogen-sensing response mapping and interferon transcriptional network analysis to develop novel immunotherapies targeting tumor microenvironments.
His publication record demonstrates consistent contributions to understanding genetic regulation of immune phenotypes, with emphasis on HLA-restricted T-cell responses, ERAP2 transcript regulation during viral infection, and STAT3 mutations in hematologic disorders. These works collectively advance precision immunology approaches for cancer and autoimmune diseases.
