Mark Montgomery serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Science, Technology and International Affairs (STIA) program at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. He concurrently holds leadership positions including Senior Director of the Center on Cyber and Technology Innovation and Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, while directing Cybersolarium.org to implement Cyberspace Solarium Commission recommendations.
His academic foundation includes degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Oxford University, complemented by U.S. Navy nuclear power training. Montgomery's research focuses on cybersecurity policy implementation, defense strategy formulation, and technology-international security intersections, drawing from decades of operational military and government experience.
