Professor Mark Monaghan is the Head of Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy at Loughborough University. He rejoined the institution in 2022 after prior roles at the University of Birmingham and the University of Leeds, where he completed his PhD. His research focuses on criminology, sociology, and social policy, with expertise in criminal justice, social inequality, and public policy.
