Mark M. Springer

Mark M. Springer is Professor of Politics, Chair of Politics and Pre-Law, and Director of Social Studies Education at the University of Mary's School of Arts & Sciences. Holding a PhD and MA in Political Science from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of North Dakota respectively, his teaching emphasizes ethics, integrity, and community values.

Springer's research focuses on civic education, civil discourse, and North Dakota politics. He has taught over 35 courses in politics, history, and criminal justice throughout his career. His community service includes leadership roles on local school boards and township government.
