Mark Lynch is an Associate Professor and Associate Head (Learning, Teaching and Student Success) in the School of Agriculture and Environmental Science at the University of Southern Queensland. He holds a PhD from Australian National University (ANU) and has held academic and research roles at ANU and the University of Sydney. His expertise spans analytical/synthetic chemistry, toxicology, drug discovery, and chemistry education.

Leveraging chemistry for health and sustainability, including:
- Development of chemotherapeutics from endophytic fungi
