Mark Losoncz is a Research Fellow at the University of Belgrade's Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory since 2011. He earned his PhD from the University of Novi Sad with a focus on the concept of time in Bergson’s and Husserl’s philosophy, including research at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. His postdoctoral work was conducted at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich's Institute of Ethics.

Scientific awards include the Miladin Životić Award and Zagorka Golubović Award. He has authored or edited thirteen books, with publications in English, French, German, Serbian/Croatian, Romanian, Slovenian, and Hungarian. His recent scholarly contributions focus on speculative materialism and critiques of capitalist domination.
