Mark Latham is Professor of Law Emeritus at Vermont Law School, specializing in environmental issues in corporate/commercial real estate transactions and brownfields redevelopment. His research focuses on the intersection of business and environmental law, particularly Clean Water Act compliance. He previously served as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and practiced environmental law for 15 years, representing businesses and municipalities in enforcement actions.
Research interests span environmental regulation, corporate law, torts, and transactional environmental risk management. His work addresses legal frameworks for sustainable development and pollution control.
Teaching includes Torts, Environmental Issues in Business Transactions, Corporations, and Environmental Law, bridging practical experience with academic scholarship.
