Mark J. VanGessel is a Professor and Extension Specialist in Weed Science and Crop Management at the University of Delaware's College of Agriculture & Natural Resources, Department of Plant & Soil Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Weed Science from North Carolina State University and an M.S. in Weed Science from Michigan State University, with undergraduate studies in Political Science at Hope College.
