Dr. Mark Ellis is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University. His expertise spans Strategy, Enterprise, Leadership, and Innovation, with a focus on Responsible Leadership and ethical business practices. He holds advanced qualifications including a PhD, MBA, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Teaching and Research: Ellis teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including BA (Hons) Enterprise and Management, MBA, and Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeships. He developed experiential learning modules and is a qualified outdoor instructor in climbing, mountaineering, kayaking, and skiing. His research explores Responsible Leadership as a process-oriented theory emphasizing ethical decision-making and stakeholder inclusion.
Consultancy and Industry Links: With over 20 years in commercial and non-profit sectors, Ellis advises organizations like EDF Energy, SIG PLC, and the Post Office.
