Mark D Adler is a Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics (Emergency Medicine) and Medical Education. He serves as an attending physician at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, focusing on simulation-based healthcare education, educational faculty development, and validity frameworks for assessment tools. His roles include Chair of the National Academy of Distinguished Educators in Pediatrics (NADEP), Associate Editor for Simulation in Healthcare, and Subject Matter Expert in the Pediatric Pandemic Network. Formerly a member of the Executive Committee of the International Network for Simulation-based Pediatric Innovation, Research and Education (INSPIRE), he has pioneered clinical skills checklists and team training programs.
