Mark Czuczman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at McMaster University. He completed his medical degree at Western University's Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, followed by residency training in Anesthesiology at McMaster University and a fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management at the University of Toronto (Sunnybrook Hospital).
His research focuses on optimizing pain management strategies for surgical patients, particularly in anesthesiology and regional techniques. Key interests include erector spinae plane blocks, peri-articular injections, and ultrasound-guided methods for post-operative pain control, with an emphasis on evidence-based approaches through randomized trials.
