Mark Catlin serves as Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies and Director for MCS at Union University's School of Theology & Missions. He holds a Ph.D. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, M.Div. and M.A. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and B.A. from Samford University.
His academic focus centers on biblical exegesis and theological education methodology. Catlin regularly contributes to university spiritual life through sermon delivery in the Word Series Chapel, with recent presentations on texts from 1 Kings and 1 John.
Teaching responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate courses in biblical studies while directing the Ministerial Credentialing Service (MCS) program that prepares students for ministry leadership positions.
