Mark Brown is a Senior Lecturer in Social Statistics at The University of Manchester, affiliated with CCSR. He specializes in curriculum innovation for quantitative methods, particularly in enhancing quantitative data and methods education in undergraduate Social Science programs. He co-leads the Manchester Q-Step Centre, an interdisciplinary project aimed at embedding quantitative skills in social sciences.
His research interests focus on improving teaching methodologies and curriculum design for quantitative methods. He has secured research grants in curriculum innovation and was awarded a University Teaching Excellence Award in 2012/2013.
