Mark Bowron

Mark Bowron is a Lecturer at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in the Department of Mining Engineering and Management. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and an M.S. in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. With over 40 years of experience in engineering, operations, management, and consulting across surface and underground mining, flotation mineral processing, and cyanide heap leach projects, he emphasizes practical knowledge in mentoring new mining engineers.
