Mark Borgschulte is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on labor economics, health economics, environmental economics, and public policy. He has published extensively on topics such as the impact of air pollution on labor markets, the effects of the Affordable Care Act, and historical analyses of the civil rights movement. Borgschulte serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and is a Research Fellow at IZA.
