Mark Berry is a Professor of Music & Intellectual History at Royal Holloway, University of London. He holds a BA, MPhil, and PhD from the University of Cambridge, and was a Fellow of Peterhouse (2001–2009). His research bridges Music, History, and Philosophy, with focuses on Wagner, Schoenberg, Mozart, and Modernism. He has authored influential books like Treacherous Bonds and Laughing Fire and Arnold Schoenberg, receiving the Prince Consort Prize and Seeley Medal.
