Mark Appiah-Twumasi

Mark Appiah-Twumasi is a Lecturer at the Agricultural and Food Economics Department of University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, and a PhD candidate in the Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy group at Wageningen University since August 2023. His research focuses on food systems’ responses to climate change in West Africa, particularly examining climate disaster patterns and their impacts on food security and resilience.

• Education: M.Phil. in Agricultural Economics from UDS, currently pursuing a PhD at Wageningen University.
• Research Interests: Sustainable food security strategies in Africa, climate change adaptation, and agricultural policy.
