Mark A. Ritter, D.B.A. serves as Dean of the School of Business at La Salle University, assuming this leadership position on November 1, 2023. With over 30 years of combined experience in education, finance, and technology sectors, Dr. Ritter brings substantial expertise to advance the School's strategic vision.
Dr. Ritter's academic credentials include a Doctor of Business Administration in Finance from Sacred Heart University and he is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Education Policy at Drexel University. His international professional experience spans Japan, Australia, and the U.K. with major financial institutions.
His research and professional focus centers on Finance, Financial Technology, Risk Management, and Commodities Trading, informed by nearly two decades at UBS where he served as global head of credit exposure management and global head of commodities, plus significant board experience with Morgan Stanley Derivative Products, Inc.

Dr. Ritter is committed to enhancing La Salle's business programs through strategic planning for new academic offerings, strengthening existing programs, increasing financial resources, and elevating the School's reputation. He previously advised students at Sacred Heart University and currently serves at Gilded, an online physical gold trading company, implementing integrated risk platforms across their global operations.
