Marjorie Margolies is a Lecturer at the Annenberg Undergraduate Program within the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Pennsylvania. She is also the founding President of Women’s Campaign International (WCI), which trains women globally in political advocacy. Her career spans journalism, politics, and academia, including service in Congress (1992-1995) and roles at NBC, Today Show, and CNBC.

Research & Teaching: Focuses on gender, political communication, and global advocacy. Courses include 'Women Leaders in Emerging Democracies' and 'Dealing with the Media.' Her work has doubled women's parliamentary representation in multiple countries and inspired local women’s caucuses.
Awards: Five Emmys for journalism, and 2015 Outstanding Teacher Award from Fels Institute.
Grants/Labs: Senior Fellow at Annenberg’s Institute for Public Service, Woodrow Wilson Fellow, U.S. Vietnam Education Fund appointee, and member of the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad.
