Marjorie Galelli is an Assistant Professor of History and Associate Director of the Institute for Military History at Kansas State University. Her research examines unconventional warfare, civil-military relations, and media's role in shaping foreign policy, with current focus on counterinsurgency doctrine development during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Dr. Galelli co-directs the Teaching Military History project, creating digital resources for historical pedagogy. She teaches undergraduate courses covering US Military History, Hollywood's military depictions, WWII, US Foreign Relations, and the Vietnam War.
