Marjolijn Antheunis is a Professor at Tilburg University's Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences, affiliated with the Communication and Cognition department. Her research focuses on human-computer interaction, particularly in chatbot technology and health communication.
Her work examines topics such as self-disclosure behavior, digital health interventions, and virtual reality applications. Notably, she has explored how chatbots can support smoking cessation and emotional well-being, as well as the ethical implications of disclosing intimate information to AI systems.
