Marja-Leena Kristofferzon

Marja-Leena Kristofferzon is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in Healthcare Science at the University of Gävle's Department of Care Science. Her research focuses on health-promoting work environments, long-term illness management, and inclusion of individuals with mental disabilities in workplaces. She holds a PhD in nursing science and is a registered nurse with expertise in intensive care.

• Quality of life in cardiac arrest survivors

Her completed research includes studies on sexual health post-myocardial infarction, cryotherapy outcomes post-cardiac arrest, and nursing role perceptions. She has also contributed to work ability studies among women with chronic musculoskeletal pain.
