Marius Dadarlat is a Professor of Mathematics at Purdue University's Department of Mathematics, part of the College of Science. He holds a PhD from UCLA (1991) and specializes in Functional Analysis, Operator Theory, Operator Algebras, and Topology. His research focuses on K-theory, Noncommutative Topology, and C*-algebras. He has advised numerous PhD students and has been an editor for journals like the Journal of Operator Theory, Transactions of the A.M.S., and Illinois Journal of Mathematics. His recent work includes studies on group stability, cohomological obstructions, and bundles of C*-algebras.
He teaches courses such as Real Analysis and Linear Algebra at Purdue. Dadarlat is actively involved in the Wabash Modern Analysis Seminar, organizing events with universities like Indiana, Illinois, and IUPUI. His publications span over 90 articles, emphasizing operator algebras and their applications.
