Marissa Grossman serves as an Instructor in the Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health at Emory University, where she teaches core courses including EHS 750: Environmental Determinants of Infectious Disease and EH 545: Introduction to Environmental Determinants of Infectious Disease.
Her research focuses on the critical intersection of environmental factors and infectious disease transmission, spanning environmental health, epidemiological modeling, and public health intervention strategies. This work examines how climate, water systems, and ecological disruptions influence pathogen spread across vulnerable populations.
Her academic contributions emphasize practical applications in disease prevention through environmental management, with particular relevance to global health security and climate-resilient public health frameworks.
