Marios Chatzikos

Marios Chatzikos is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Kentucky's College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on astrophysical spectroscopy, plasma modeling, and galaxy cluster dynamics. He contributes significantly to the development of Cloudy, a spectral synthesis code widely used for simulating astrophysical plasmas.

His work examines cooling flows in galaxy clusters, atomic recombination processes, and high-resolution spectroscopy using microcalorimeters.
